Okay, so as many of you know, I also have a blog on MySpace. I wanted to try out other blogging sites because I thought they might have something to offer that MySpace didn't. Well, this site doesn't as far as I can tell (at least nothing that interests me), and in addition, what I find irritating is there is no way to know when someone has posted a comment, and when they do, no way to respond to them in a way that they will know you did (without contacting them and saying "hey! guess what? I responded to your comment")
Also, there's no way to subscribe to blogs here like there is on myspace.

So in order to simplify things, I thought I'd keep my blogging to one place, and at least for now, it's going to be on my myspace account (there should be a link to that on the side). Thanks all of you who have come here, but it's just not the place for me.

Comment Whore

How does one become a whore? Do they think one day when sitting in the playground at school "God, I'd really like to be a whore when I grow up?"

I've realized I've become a comment whore. Mostly on YouTube. Comments are like crack to me. I need my fix. Why? I'm not entirely sure but I think it has something to do with validation. I want to be recognized. Or I need attention and comments are a way to know people are watching me. But it's more than that as well. Perhaps they are filling a social void in my life. I mean, I do have friends, but maybe not enough? Or not enough love? Or something??? I don't know.

But when youtube stops working properly and I can't receive comments, I go into withdrawal. I get cranky and am prone to lash out. Perhaps I should seek treatment....

Frustration! And serious Pain!

I'm severly frustrated. First, all day yesterday YouTube was fucking with comments, and since comments have become like crack for me, I was in serious withdrawal. Also, if any of you care, my back went out.

I was on the subway on my way to work. Sitting and reading like every day. I shifted position when suddenly this spasm of pain went up my back. First I was like wtf? Then it didn't stop. And it was the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. I then started to get nauseous from the pain. That's never happened to me. I think I saw a few people staring and me and I remember thinking to myself: "Oh, great. I'm going to puke on the train, stink up the whole place, they're going to have to stop the train at the next stop and make everyone get off and block the station until the ambulance comes and takes me away." And all I could think about was how I don't have health insurance and can't afford to go to a hospital. But I could not move! Finally, things started to get fuzzy for me and I tipped over onto the bench. Fortunately nobody was next to me. Gotta love New York. Everyone has seen everything, so I could tell people were aware that something was wrong with me, but they mostly tried not to look, except I half-noticed a woman a ways down the subway care perched on the edge of her seat like an alert animal, staring at me. And that was the last thing I saw. I think I passed out for only a few minutes. Then we came to a stop and a bunch of people came on the train. I try to get up, but I couldn't. But after another thirty seconds I forced myself to sit, against the pain.

Long story short, I managed to eventually get home and spent the rest of the day in bed. I'm just glad I have a laptop to keep me entertained (despite YouTUbe frustrating the hell out of me with the commenting problems), because I literally could not get up even to go to the bathroom or I would pass out from pain. I took about 5 painkillers and eventually I was able to get up to pee, but that was it. Today I'm doing slightly better, but will probably spend most of the day in bed (and on YouTube!).

Thanks for listening to my bitching. Oh, I don't know what the problem is and can't afford a doctor right now, so wish me well. I'm hoping it was just some muscle thing that will get better soon. It better!

Hi folks,

Well, for those of you who want to know what I'm about, I'm currently doing a comedy series on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/healingnetwork

It's misguided advice for the misguided.

I'm not sure what I'm going to post here yet, but I've become addicted to youtube, rather addicted to MySpace, so I'm sure I'll get addicted here, and just start posting random shit.

For now, I guess that's all. I'm supposed to be at work today but something happened to my back and I am in extreme pain and on a lot of painkillers, so, yeah....
